Desert Lady
I know a lady that lives out in the desert. She strives to carry along, while missing a big part of her life. She has been missing something that all women should have. She misses the beach, she misses the mall, but she misses something else most of all. She has a new man that is pretty good to her, he even treats her well. She is happy being a desert queen with her new friends and her great house, but she is still missing something. Every so often, she drives the distance back home to visit her mother and she gets to window shop at what she has been searching for. It’s no one’s fault really, just kind of bad luck, but it tears at her heart every minute of her desert life. What can she do to get that feeling back? She tries to call weekly and sends e-mail daily, but she still feels left out somehow. Don't worry desert lady, they still think of you, you're on their hearts and in their prayers. I love you desert lady, I love you mom.
